ATTN: SC Eggers (and others close by)
I just received a call from Jack Oliver's Pools and Spas. They are planning to host a store cook on September 21, 2013. They are asking a few of us locals to bring our BGE's and do some demo cooking. I plan on attending and cooking up a few things. They are going to try to get a BGE rep to attend I believe, as well as advertise it on some local radio stations. Should be a whole lotta' fun! Steven Oliver mentioned that they would reimburse some of us cooks for some of the food cost. Any of y'all interested in going? Steven mentioned that he was going to try to make contact with @FanofFanboys and @Chubbs, but he asked that I spread the word if anyone else on the forum is interested. They are also going to having some good sales on the Big Green Eggs.

Smoking in Aiken South Carolina -
I am going to try and go by there today and talk to them. A woman I work with makes her own sauce that is avail at several locals tores from Piggly Wiggly, DiPratos, Ole Timey, etc. She said she would donate plenty of sauce for us to use as well if want.

Sounds great, @FanOfFanboys ! I'm thinking about cooking up a bunch of piri piri wings. I can get around 80 - 100 wings on the BGE at once using the AR with 3 tiers. Those always seem to be a big hit. Then after that, maybe some of Mrs. Dyal's homemade chocolate chip toffee cookies.

Had a great time today at the store cook! It was a pleasure to meet @erblover , @FanOfFanboys , and @redneck6497 . We musta done good, because they sold 5 big green eggs and some other stuff before @FanOfFanboys and I left.
