Ozark Oak Supply Problems?

Went to my ACE dealer in Johns Creek, GA yesterday and picked up 10 bags of OO. The owner's son Richard said he is trying to get more in but has been told that the factory is out of stock. For anyone in the Atlanta area, he still has about 1/2 pallet left. This store also has a bunch of different rubs and sauces on order. They are also now stocking Yeti coolers - Expensive but impressive - May have to put on my wish list ....

I live in Arkansas and I have been to the store many a time where there is no OO left. Prices have gone up by about 1 dollar a bag in the last year as well. I feel they definitely have supply issues. But i love the product. I haven't found anything better.

I was thinking about sponsoring a group buy in Atlanta so I called OO. The woman who I spoke to said that they are not taking new customers because they are low on stock. She suggested that I call back after the new year.-The GoatMarietta, GAXL BGE

I pay about 4.75 - 5.25 per 10lb bag here in Arkansas. But even here its hard to find due to supply issues.

I live in Louisville, there is a place right across the bridge in southern Indiana that sells OO.. It is $11 per 10 pound bag. I think OO at Wallys is quite a bit less but I'll take OO any day. It is ready to cook almost instantly while RO takes 20 - 30 minutes to get rid of VOCs. I love Ozark Oak.

I would be up for a group buy when they get back in stock. I think there are enough folks in the Metro Atl area to make it happen. We would have to figure out how to handle the money and unload the truck. In the meantime, I may have to start hunting around for some alternate lump for the winter. Anyone have any suggestions in the North Fulton area? Probably will go with RO.Milton, GA.

The Ace in Johns Creek is charging $15 bucks a bag for 10 lbs.
It's good lump but it's not 15 bucks a bag good.
I'd be in on an ATL group buy
