Went to a service call first thing this morning and while I was standing in the kitchen I saw a large on this guys back deck. So I questioned him about how long he has had it, what do you cook. The normal egger chit chat. That conversation turned in 1hr flyin by. This guy was a welder and was telling me how good his gloves were for pickin up the hot PS.
So I finished the repair and as I was leaving he handed me a new set of welding gloves and I gave him the addy for this site,CGS & CGW. All in a nice surprise and got to share some tricks and recipes.
The gloves. I will report back once I try them out.

    recruit them one at a time
    Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

    A buddy of mine gave me a pair of them gloves and I love them!! Been using them for almost a year now.They give you 10-15 seconds to grab/move hot platesetter, but be carefull not to hold it much longer because all of the sudden they get HOT!!
