My first chicken pot pie for dinner last night. 375 degrees for 40 minutes, indirect legs up. Pretty good but thought some of the vegetables were a little crunchy.

Looks good. For the veggie problem, try either parboiling them or reduce the egg temp by about 25 degrees. I presume you followed recipe directions. The egg works just like a convection oven so the temp reduction is indicated for this more efficient form of cooking.

The dough was Pillsbury. Not ready to tackle that yet. Thanks for vegetable and temperature suggestions.

Looking good. Love a good chicken pot pie. Was the chicken grilled/smoked on the egg first? One of our favorite ways to use leftover chicken.
