Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
We hope everyone’s enjoying the first few days of summer. For us, the weather heating up means one thing - the EGG’s gonna be busy! Whether you’re making stuffed burgers for a backyard grill out, some brats before a baseball game or searing a steak for dinner on the patio, we hope you’re doing it with full flavor and having fun all the while!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

Well I guess I'm officially a member now.

Went to flip the t-bones, and in the rush of the moment forgot to burp the egg. Ouch. That was wild to say the least.

Welcome to the hairless arm hair club.  I was doing a night time pizza cook this week, and it was really cool to see the flashback flame out the top of the Egg when I burped it.

I like to not burp every now and then to keep the arm hair tamed. Gotta keep a shirt off next time.

Surely every BGE owner has little or no hair on their dominant forearm!  It was pizza night that did mine in the first time.

Any kind of camera should do the trick...

Just a picture of singed curled forearm hair will do.

  • I actually have a pretty decent size flashback on video from a while ago. If I can find it, I will post it in this thread.

It's been a few days now but you can still see it in my beard.

Yup. I recognize the classic flashback features. Didn't the beard used to be a foot longer? I believe that it happened now. ;)
