Beer brined turkey

Options
I'm just sitting here flipping through some recipes on turkey (watching the Miami / Florida game) still in search of the ultimate turkey. I came across this web site. http://thebeeroness.com/2011/11/28/beer-brined-turkey/ And wondered if anyone has tried using beer in their brine. Might have to try it.

Yep, I did the mad max. It's good. So far from all I have tried MDSH and Mickey's turkey's are my favorite. ;;)

Used a beer brine with chops once, very good, but water and salt seemed to have almost the same result - sort of like beer can chicken - it sounds way better than it tastes. Let us know how the turkey comes out if you try it.
