Big Green Egg - EGGhead Forum - The Ultimate Cooking Experience...
It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Just don’t be surprised if your neighbors stop by for a quick bite when they smell what you’re cooking!

Big Green Egg headquarters has moved - come visit our new showroom and check out the museum and culinary center too! 3786 DeKalb Technology Parkway, Atlanta, GA 30340

  • Same setup that I have for my small.  Haven't done any low and slows on it yet, but it works great for small batches of wings if you cook your wings indirect.
I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.

  • Gonna go with some chicken raised direct for supper tomorrow. We'll see how it goes.

  • Now you are cooking with lump. The only other thing you may need is a drip pan for low and slows, or to capture the juices of a three rib bone in beef or pork roast. I hope you enjoy your small as much as we have. They little guy is an amazing cooker.
