Wow!  That is the best lump score I have ever heard of.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Dude, 10 cents per lb... I'd go back and clean house. You can drive around meeting Eggers in weird places passing on the deal.

Not sure if home hardware takes orders for maple leaf charcoal in the off season so I hope I make it through with this much RO:/

  • At $3 a bag, you could ship to me in BC and still be less than the local Ukrainian Brake and Wheel (CTC) at $15..... Better to have too much than too little, go back and clean them out!

  • That is about what I had last year and it got me through to March when CostCo and Crappy Tire started stocking it again.  I used the egg at least once a week through the winter, probably more, the neighbours thought I was nuts going out in the dark with my headlamp to cook.  That is a good deal glad you got a chance to take advantage of it.

+1 on clean them out.  If you don't have room, make room.  "honey, do we really have to store lump in the bedroom?"

  • I agree.  Clean them out.  Worst case scenario, you could always give them out to eggheads for Halloween & Xmas!!

  • Man and I thought my $4.50 for 20 pounds of B&B mesquite was a good deal. They would have been rearangeing the shelves today if I were there. I would have owned every bag in that store. Even if it took me till this time next year to use it all up. What a score.

I just bought 6 20 lb bags of B&B oak for $9.99/bag and thought that was a good deal....in general, anything under  $0.50/lb is a good deal in my market.
