I've done 3 cooks with my new LBGE. Is it now safe to cook at elevated temperatures? The first 3 cooks were done at 300-400 degrees.

I think the new gaskets (lighter gray color) don't have to be cured or broken in like the others. so either way you're good to go#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

I always break in my gaskets with high heat. Let it fly.
