Storing uncooked brisket?

Just bought a nice packer brisket that I was thinking I would cook this evening. For various reasons that's probably not going to happen. How long could I store the brisket in my fridge? What about frozen? Should I take it out of the cryo?
Cheers

Bump. Could really use some help with this if anyone has some experience. Finally back in the Badger State!

You can freeze it with little problems. I have frozen several, I buy my practice meats by the case. One thing I try to do is take it out of the cryo and dry off the liquids and vacuum seal dry. But I've used the original cyro vac with no problems. Hope this helps.
