    Question   dosen't the tape burn or get very hard and almost imposable to remove?

    Not at all, it peeled off easily.  It was a low temp cook.  I was pleasantly surprised that the 5 CFM fan worked fine with the XL.

    I have two identical 5 CFM fans, one with L adapter and one S.  The S has been sold, when I have time I'll fabricate a permanent plate to convert the S to XL.
