We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. Egret chili

I followed Egret chili recipe less the fresh chiles (none available at my store) and it turned out awesome. I also used chipotle chile powder because they didnt have ancho powder either. The dried chile is Pasilla from Oaxaca. Ive been itching for a meal with lots of heat as I havent cooked any in ages to please my kids. Today, I pleased myself :)
