Mick,[p]the rule of thumb is refridgerate below 40 and heat over 140. If you left in the oven and kept at 140 or over it will probably keep indefinately but eventually dry out. My guess if its gonna be much more than 6 hours i'ld probably just refridgerate and reheat.[p]Scott

Mick,
Not sure about the oven but I've wrapped them in foil and then put a towel on the bottom of a cooler and then the butts and then pack towels tight around them on top. Then closed the lid. You will be amazed how long it keeps them hot and still moist as can be.
