I've had mine a little over a week. I've done a pizza cook, steak sear, and right now I'm doing an overnight brisket and pork butt. So far I'm loving the grate. It seems there is not really any need to stir the charcoal to get rid of all the ash anymore. It just falls right through. Otherwise my egg seems to act the same as the stock grate. I also purchased the eggware cap from him and I have to say I LOVE it! Highly recommend both products

I'm doing my first three butt low and slow with my new Rockwood and new charcoal grate from Jonathan. Four hours pegged on 225. Going to bed. Ain't worried about it. This stuff is the real deal.
