We hope everyone enjoyed their Fourth of July weekend and is excited for more warm weather grilling! First cook!

Built my table yesterday and cooked my first meal to tonight. I cooked a Spatchcock chicken, baked potato and hot dogs for the kids. I used Dizzy Pig Tsunami Spin for the seasoning and apple wood for some smoke and cooked raised direct at 350. Everything turned out great. Chicken had just a hint of smoky and was the juiciest bird I have ever had. The potatoes where a little under done, next time I will wrap in foil after the first half hour, but they too had an awsome smoky flavor. I think tomorrow I will have to try some ribs. So happy to be finally cooking. imageimageimage
