We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. To use, or not to use.

Noticed a crack that runs from the top of the base to the bottom door, and the runs sideways 7-8 inches at about the midpoint. Looks like the crack is all of the way through the ceramic.
Thinking the s'mores party tonight is off as I'm thinking I need to avoid high heat, but what about low and slow? Thoughts from the experts please.
