Here we go....Testing my new Digiq DX2, on my XL with a 9# butt and my rub. I've always done low and slow butts, @ 220 until its "ready". Have 60-75#s to cook for my mil&fil's 50th wedding anniversary in two wks so heres my maiden voyage with modern technology,..pics to follow.

I figured it would be the s*** I read from the forum posters.. but it takes the romance out of low and slow.. my wife thought that was funny and I don't care, but im digging it so far.

your going to love your DigiQ I have had mine since january and to be honest I would be lost without it .It's almost like you have a butler watching your fire and meat you set the pit temp and the desired internal temp (doneness) and walk away it's that easy congratulations on your purchase enjoy it and send lots of pics2 Large Eggs and a Mini 2 Pit Bulls and a Pork shoulder or butt nearby and 100% SICILIANLong Island N.Y.
