Roasted Honey Orange Duck

We recently celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and had a roasted duck entree at a local upscale restaurant that was really good. It inspired us to try it at home, since we know that the egg often outshines any restaurant food we can buy. [p]duck-honey-orange.jpg[p]We served it with some spinich mashed potatoes and cider sauteed vegetables (carrots, parsnips, and brussel sprouts). To finish the meal, we enjoyed a 2003 Girard Petite Syrah that was outstanding and went beautifully with the duck. Just a wonderful finish to the weekend. [p]Cheers,
