New cheap plastic handle and lid not staying open.

Was at the bge dealer today and was looking around and picked up some dizzy pig. Seen bge went to some cheap crappy plastic handle. I looked at the owner with a WTF look on my face. He responded with "I know. What were they thinking". Also the eggs on display stay open way nicer than mine. I tightened up the bolts which helped a little. Any cures out there before. I call the mothers ship? Was also going to tell them what I thought about the handle. It was so bad....
