Are we talking 'The Best' or 'Our Favorite'?  For example - I think Mad Men is a better show than Game of Thrones, but Sunday nights at 10 I was watching HBO, and I'd catch up on Mad Men later on the week, because there are times when I want to watch TV without the same level of involvement of reading a Gabriel Garcia Marquez novel.

    Anyway, my picks would be:

Best - Mad Men, although The Bridge has serious potential
    Favorite - Game of Thrones

Best - The Wire (as a full series I think The Wire was best, but when The Sopranos was good, it was better than anything, but I think there were a few too many plot lines thrown in that detracted from the core)
    Favorite - The Simpsons

On a TV side note, I can't believe how useless Food Network has become.
