We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. The Great Ontario Meat Hunt 2013

Gabriella was getting itchy as she could see the bottom of the freezer, so the meat hunt was on. Hit the Farmer's Markets in Stratford and St. Jacobs and bagged smoked chops, short ribs, back ribs, rib eyes and sirloins, sausages, bacon, lamb, veal shanks, and roasts. Freezer is full again, she is a happy camper. Topped the day off with a couple of lamb shoulders on the Mini, bok choy, asparagus and some fine Italian wine.
