    Ouch! I feel your pain, I just stopped wearing some sort of bandage on my thumb after slicing off a piece with a mandoline about a month ago.

    Ouch - know the feeling. 
    I made it through the chopping, grabbed the knife in a sink full of water, hurt like hell and bled like crazy. You prolly needed a tetanus shot anyway. Heal quick!

  • I grated off some skin grating manchego to make Mexican street corn then poked a hole in a different finger cleaning the blender after making drinks. A successful weekend of cooking!

    That stinks. I sliced off a nice chunk of finger and a third of my nail back in high school. Took forever to get it to stop bleeding every time I knocked it. Good luck!
