Just a little tip for all you new Eggers like myself if you're going to grill raised direct at the felt level watch out for barbecue sauce getting on your gasket because it can cause the gasket to stick together when you open the dome next time you Cook . I almost tore my gasket three times now damn!!!!!

Don't worry about the gasket. My mini has a Rutland....you can't tell from sauce grease, fire. Its bound to happen.Seattle, WA

So far I'm satisfied with the new high temp bge gasket. I have done few 600 deg cooks now and the gasket did fine .its the damn sticky BBQ sauce sticking the dome and base together and tearing....whata beeatch it is!!!Hows ya gettin' on, me ol ****?Kippens.Newfoundland and Labrador. (Canada).
