New LBGE owner, Egg Mate issue
Just assembled my new LBGE on Wednesday and went to attach the egg mates yesterday. As you can see in the photos below the bar seems to be about 1/4 to 1/2 inch short to reach the other attachment. I went back to the dealer with the bar and confirmed it was the right size for a LBGE. Has anyone else had this problem? Could my wife and I caused this during assembly? Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Take it back to the dealer and see if it fits their display LBGE.

Hello B-06,
The bracket has a flawed bend in it, we had a few of these come thru the store 6 months ago.
The bend is too close to the hole, take it to the dealer and let him see what you are dealing with and he can send it back. You just need a new set of brackets.

Thanks Smitty, I'll give that a go, it certainly makes sense. Assembly seems fine, fired her up an hour ago for a trial burn, seems to be working great.
