Total shut out on egging this weekend... we where over at the brother in law's pool and the subject of dinner came up.

My wife and daughter out voted me, and we tried a new Mexican place that just opened. It was really good, big portions, and decent prices. I got a Ceviche sampler that was three different bowls filled with squid, tuna, and the last one was shrimp. My daughter and I killed it :)
  • Pizza for lunch, apricot and rosemary glazed pork chops for dinner. Aaaahhhh Sunday how I love thee!!!

Coming out pretty solid on second batch since some friends stopped by and enjoyed it. Eye of round I trimmed which was labor intensive but not bad at $2.50 a pound from local cash and carry. Marinated in soy, worches, brown sugar, pepper, garlic powder

Taking 4 hours or so I sliced on a slicer.

I didn't take pics so I didn't make fish tacos as well as cedar-planked Sockeye salmon. It didn't taste really really good. Neither did the black beans or homemade salsa verde.
