A home for the new small

Decided today to go ahead and build a home for the small my wife got me for Father's Day. The little feller is cooking hotdogs right now.

Nice solid sturdy home for the little guy. Any particular reason for the walls on the sides of the egg?

@caliking I went with the bricks on three sides just in case the kids get a little wild while playing in the area. Never know who or what may get thrown around here.

Looks great, I want to steal the idea.

Grolsch!  I haven't had that since I was in The Netherlands for company training 4 years ago.

@bys1981 that's home brew in a Grolsch bottle. Your welcome to steal the idea but you have to send a pic.

I assumed while it was a home brew... which is another discussion in itself, it initially was a grolsch.

Did you use any mortar etc?

Looks awesome @shtgunal3, still rolling with nest's for all my eggs, hoping that when I get to a more accommodating house for the two children I will build something fantastic.

@bys1981 only thing I used was construction adhesive for concrete. I may want to move it someday.
