Gap in the gasket

Just got my LBGE awesome. after putting it together the gasket has a very small gap on the back side near the hinge. I have tried to loosen the rings and adjust but when I tighten them back I get a gap again. Any suggestions or is this not really an issue. Thanks in advance this forum is so good.

From other postings -- you need to loosen the bolts, then get someone to apply heavy pressure on the dome while tightening the bolts.  Also check the visual level of the top ring onto your ceramic dome??  It should be equal - front to rear...

Yes. Was reading both and posted on the wrong one. I'm not sure who was more confused, me or OP.
