First reverse sear with grilled Caesar salad (Picts )

First attempt at a reverse sear ribeye wasn't a complete failure, but even with my pink thermapen, still overcooked just a bit. First grilled Caesar salad was amazing. Especially with the croutons made out of leftover soft pretzels cooked on the egg. Luckily, steaks came in a pack of 4 and were in serious sale, so we'll have another shot.
For the record, I didn't finish it all...

Watch yourself @jamieoro, people are going to start looking to you for advice. Nice looking cook.
I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season. -
Grilled caeser is a win! Gotta remember the steak will continue to increase in temperature while it rests. I find if I go over 110 on the low and slow I tend to overshoot rare to medium rare and end up more into the medium range.

@scottborasjr ha! I think I'm only qualified to give advice on how to take pictures of an overdone steak and still make it look awesome!Scottborasjr said:Watch yourself @jamieoro, people are going to start looking to you for advice. Nice looking cook.

@Spaightlabs so true! The sear happened so fast, I forgot all of the basic fundamentals of cooking meat under the pressure and heat...Spaightlabs said:Grilled caeser is a win!
