What is your "Claim to Fame" cook?

Just curious as to what you think is your best, can do it with your eyes closed cook. Example - Travis and Cen-Tex- I associate both of these guys with brisket, I think Mickey when it comes to Turbo anything and Tuna is definitely the explainer of Turbo(no dis Charlie). Mine would be Nitro Butt Hot and fast all the way thru.

WT?  Forgot about your pizza in the egg?  He said claim to fame, not infamy.

I definitely wouldn't say I can do them with my eyes closed, but it's not hard to make better ribs on the egg than you can get in most restaurants.

@cazzy - you could sell that as a substitute for the landscape stone everyone is using between the Egg and table :D There has to be a story behind that

Chicago Deep Dish ala Lou Malnati's Pizza.  Although Apple Pie Baked inside an Apple comes in a close second.

This Prime Rib is definitely my best work. My company said "this meal would be $100 in a restaurant". Best compliment I have ever had.

  • I have two:
Ribs - First I soak them in water while I boil the hell out of them. I know they're ready when they turn battleship gray and I pull them and put them in the egg. I use BBQ sauce for color and to impart flavor that is lacking in this cut of meat.

Hot dogs - I buy the cheapest ones I can find. Chicken lips and pig a$$holes is good eatin, I say. Grill until black and stiff.

Off topic- but has anyone else noticed that the signatures have lost their formatting??  They just look like part of the comment.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
