Greeneggers.com Alternative (Access it while it is down)

Just thought I would point this link out:

You can access greeneggers.com if you need to look at stuff (old recipes, comments, etc).  This is up to date as June 2nd, 2013.

Just thought it might be of some help.  I saw @chubbs posted about thin crust recipes and several responses referenced greeneggers.com.  You can use the above to open it up provided it was posted BEFORE June 2nd, 2013.

@mrcookingnurse no worries.  To repay me you can just get a group by setup for a BGE Grid Extender and work much harder than you ever planned and get the price down to an amazing $25.  If you do that then I forgive you!

    Oh wait...  :))

@eggcelsior just reread what you typed.  I can open posts fine.  Not sure why yours won't open.  It should have the http://web.archive.org infront of the url...does it when you click on a post?

I know. I should clarify: After going to the read-only version, it takes me to the GoDaddy site when I try to read any post. Also, it is directing me to an archive from 4/26/13.

    Like so:

    And then:

Not sure what you will do with this?  It is just a Godaddy IP address.

exactly. Sometimes it takes me to the OP but when i try to click on a response, it diverts to the GoDaddy crap. Other times it goes straight there. It has also bounced around from 4/26/13 to 5/25/13 to 10/13/12. Weird.

put it in a browser and see if the site is still there and it's just the DNS that's down

Well it probably doesn't catalog everything on the second with a fresh snap shot.  If nothing changed from 4/26/13 it probably keeps it at that snap shot date and goes on about its business.  Not sure about still getting Godaddy though...odd.

Ha if only it were that simple.  There is a waiting period before the domain can go up for sale and then it will be classified as a premium name by Godaddy based on the traffic it receives.  They will then ask you to bend over and pull your pants down if you want to buy it...

That's not all they will ask you to do, lol!  But I'm pretty sure the site is not "down".  I've been watching it all day posting and reading new posts.

    A benjamin?  That's overpaying by about $99 I think.
