Those are some great looking ribs! It looks to me like they could be St. Louis style spare ribs; but either way they look great!Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

@smokeypitt we have a butcher in Plano, TX that cuts his baby backs that big. He is not cheap, each rack cost about $28. He is about double on per pound than a grocery store. But there is so much meat you get full fast. He does say butchers dont cut this way because of cost. His spare ribs are not as big as his baby back. I can't afford his meats all the time but every once in awhile its nice. His steaks are amazing.

@duganboy that's what everyone thinks, but ever just north of Dallas matador meat in Plano cuts them this way. @smokinsooner shops there as well, he didn't believe me when I told him it takes an extra hour to hour and half to cook his ribs.

The ribs look amazing. It makes me want to go out and buy some baby back ribs. It has been a while since I cooked any of them. Too many meats and not enough days.Gulf Coast FL
