I would like your opinion on what would be the best size stone to use for an indirect cook with the AR. Would it be a 13" or a 14"? I'm thinking the 14" would be closer to the size of the platesetter. What do you think? Thanks.

what kind of meat are you cooking? If ribs or brisket, the oval stone from CGS is nice.Columbia, SC --- LBGE 2011 -- MINI BGE 2013

The BGE is a large. You are right about the oval for ribs or brisket. I was wondering about the time when I might like to use a round stone for other things.

14" for a large. I know this because a 14" round cake pan sits perfectly on my placesetter.
