Ladies and gents,
My name is John, and I am new to the forum. I bought a large egg last Saturday, and I wanted to get cooking right away so I joined up! Unfortunately I was unable to post until today, but I wanted to thank you all for the great info!
I poked around here to learn how to smoke a butt. I'd never smoked one before. I read up and got to work, buying an 8 lb butt on Sunday morning. Well, following the good advice here, I put it in at 9:45 that night and 15 hrs later I had some dee-lish bbq waiting!
Thanks again for the great info! (I had a camera in my hands at one point but got distracted and then forgot to take a pic. The only pic I have is of the empty foil pan after everybody left!)
