My humble submission

With the 3-day weekend I got a chance to build a table for my LBGE.  It's nothing fancy, especially compared to the amazing tables in this forum but it should be more than serviceable.

The frame is from scrap lumber from having our deck rebuilt.  Just had to purchase the wheels, trex decking, and the screws.

And a view without my ugly mug.

Thanks all for the inspiration and help.

Looks good man!  You can't beat the price on that.  Since it was from scrap, it is basically a free table!

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Looks great!!! And for the price... You cant beat it

It was pretty close to it.  But I do have to admit the Trex decking ain't cheap.  I like the fact I don't have to worry so much about it and food compared to the pressure treated lumber and I'm into low maintenance.

Nice table! Is TREX heat resistant? That table should last a good while.

Make sure you get some Ozark Oak from @henapple.

From the best I could tell by researching it, it is more flame resistant than pressure treated wood.  I did open up the hole but an inch overall more than the plans to provide more breathing room.  I did a pizza last night at 550 and while the decking got pretty warm it showed no signs of damage or problems.

Nice table, one addition is a handle on the end opposite the wheels to help move it, and doubles as a towel rod!

The handle is a definite.  Just trying to figure out what I want to do for one.

I think it would be cheaper to just buy the one from BGE.  :-)

Thanks.  It was fun to build.  I have enough left over lumber and 1 whole board of the trex so I'm going to build a couple of side tables to put between our chairs on the deck.  We don't want a large table because my daughters like to get out there and dance and such (they're 5 and 8).

What secondary grill setup do you have there?

That is just the Weber Charcoal Grate.  I bought it and used it a good bit for raised cooks or for a second layer.  Have since replaced it with the Grill Extender from the group buy and along with a BGE ss grate for the medium egg.  The weber is a rust magnet.
