I wanted to say thank you for all of the tips I picked up reading the forum and for the replies I received when I sought help! With your help and my XL BGE I think I proved to family and friends that this Brit CAN smoke!!! My hangover this morning proves my ability to over indulge too!
6.5lb flat brisket before an overnight marinade in beer and chipotle mix.
Side by side on my XL BGE.
225 overnight for just short of 14 hours. The butt was 210 and the brisket 200.
I was so excited with the crispness of the wings (thanks to the corn starch) tips I forgot to take a photo......
