Bamboo Lump Charcoal

There are plenty of good brands of lump charcoal on the market but I was wondering if any one tried Bamboo Lump Charcoal? I heard a brand called Hot Bambu is sold in Texas but I cannot find any reviews or pricing on it nor any other brands that are being sold.  I like the idea of it (sustainable, lighter than hardwood but just as dense (so theoretically you would be more for you money etc), but not sure if it would end up being like coconut charcoal -- which I have heard is rarely good. Hoping  @NakedWhiz gets a chance to review some.  If you have used bamboo lump please let me know what you think of it (brand, price and local would be helpful too).
