it's my daughters Birthday weekend (they turn 11, twins) so they are asking for me to do some dinner on the BGE.
need some help; they would like some grilled oysters to start. need any repipe ideas ??
they also would like prime rib!! I haven't done one before so any tips there would be welcomed as well!!

Do the prime rib at 250* until about 10 * below your desired finish. If you are big on searing you can take it off, open the vents and do a quick sear at 500* plus. Prime rib is always my daughter's request too but she wants it so she can have Yorkshire pudding.

Haven't tried ersters before. Little Steven has you covered on the prime rib. It's an easy cook. IMO- the only thing to watch out for is not to over cook it. If you go with a reverse sear like Steven described- let the meat rest first so the temp stops rising, then throw it on.Here is another useful link that describes :This is another video from Dr BBQ that describes a simple "cook it until it is done" process:Which came first the chicken or the egg?
