Found an add on Craigslist for a Medium BGE with a nest. They are wanting $550. I would contact the dealer and ask the price but they are closed right now. Does anyone know the new price on this setup? Not sure if the area matters but I'm in the southeast.

Bare egg is 550 for a medium in Cullman. I'm guessing you can get the nest for 100 or less. Your not saving much and your not getting the lifetime warranty. I'd rather buy one new. Just my 2 cents.

Completely agree with @shtgunal3, $550 for a no warranty egg is too much. Besides the functionality of the Egg the warranty is the second most important feature to me. If you have the money to drop this kind of coin on a grill spend the extra money at least for the Egg itself. If you can find a used nest go for that.

Tell them to go pound sand. I believe the deal right now is the Egg, Plate setter, and nest for around 650. That's what it was at my dealer when I got my large.

All of your responses were exactly my thoughts. Just wanted to make sure. I thought about offering $400, but now I'm rethinking. Thanks guys."I have great faith in fools; self-confidence my friends call it."RTR

Wow. That's an awesome buy. I really don't have a need for another Egg but would definitely buy one for the right price.Charlie tuna said:My dealer has the Medium, with a nest, platesetter and grid for $749.00.
