What about a Memorial Day weekend Throwdown? Cooks happen that weekend. Since this was Little Steven's idea, we'll call it "The Victoria's Throwdown".

He will have to use a twin bed sheet. I fear full-size would be too long.

Nope.  We're just needlessly adding posts right now.  I thought about trying to play the role of a troll just for Little Steven's amusement but I don't have it in me.  So, needless posts it is.

In order to get to 8 and not add any value:

I suggest one of the throwdowns be "WIB" = Wrapped in Bacon.

Bacon is the Friday of the meat family.   Is it bacon today?  No, it's Tuesday (AKA Turkey Burger)

I think it should just be a standing rule that for any throwdown "wrapped in bacon" is always acceptable and encouraged.

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

I thought Little Steven made a great suggestion - that one of the Throwdown's be a Toga Throwdown - where each entry must include a picture of the chef dressed in a toga.

That wouldn't be fair to the Muslims amongst us, and therefore, probably illegal (oh sorry, I meant undocumented)

That's what is wrong in the Middle East... Not one eats pork. A slab of ribs and a pork sandwich goes a long way to stop violence... I'm usually laid up on the couch.

Man sorry about falling off the planet there. I have been out of town all weekend for Mother's Day.  Just got back late yesterday.  I have created a very basic Facebook page where everyone could upload their photo and then we could vote by Liking the photos.  Comments on photos would be contained in the photo and not on the 'Wall'.  I can control all the comments to the wall and only allow 'photo submissions'.

The page is www.facebook.com/eggheadthrowdown .  Thoughts?
