It feels as though we’ve waited forever for college football to start, and finally the wait is over! Check out our tailgating page for recipes that are sure to become fan favorites. As an added bonus, the day before Labor Day is National Bacon Day and we don’t know about you, but we like putting bacon on anything and everything, so we’ll definitely be celebrating that. Made a little mother's day meal for the wifey...tandoori chicken served up with a side of chickpea salad (chickpeas, kalamata olives, red onion, fresh basil and parsley, EVOO, red wine vinegar, feta cheese), grilled yellow peppers, and a glass of shiraz. Pictures to follow....all was quite delicious. Finished it off with freshly picked strawberries and vanilla ice cream (endoscope would be required to see the latter - disappeared before the camera could come out).
