Stoped at a friends house yesterday and helped cut up a fallen tree. (Shag-bark Hickory) I should be set for hickory wood. Now to get it out of the truck !

Your steaks and roasts will be smoked to perfection! That's some awesome looking hickory. With some apple I inherited, I used the chain saw cut it to 12" lengths, then split it to about 2" sticks. Cut them to fist size using the radial arm and chop saw. Less saw dust than cutting into 2" rounds with the chain saw.Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!
