Tonights cook from Chris Lilly Cover a whole bird in a mixture of L&P & apple sauce, then rub & place tit side uo in a loaf pan & cook indirect for 2 hours @ 300,

    Cooked closer to 400 than 300 how I normally do whole birds. Took around 1:15 to hit 155. Super juicy & smoky but skin in the pan did not brown, trade off I guess for the juiciest bird I have cooked that was not brined.

    Woostershire sauce. L&P have a low sodium one too. 's all we use around here.
