We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! We are even more excited about the beginning of fall, for so many reasons, but mainly for experiencing the cool, crisp air while being outside cooking up the best recipes the season has to offer. Himalayan salt block Tilapia, Sweet peppers, and scallops

From a recent post, I got the urge to bring out my salt block.  I went to Whole Foods, looking for red bell peppers, but found Ancient Sweet Peppers.

I cooked them on the salt block and also tilapia (my first try for them), lightly dusted with DP Ragin River,  and scallops.  The evaluation from the wife was that the tilapia was a wee bit salty because they are thin, but the scallops were great.  She also liked the sweet peppers.
