We’re feeling pretty super, how about you? The big game is fast approaching, and while we love football, we love an excuse to invite people over and cook even more! You too can cook like a champion with recipes from Dr. BBQ’s NFL Gameday Cookbook: Grilled Tuna Sandwiches from Seattle and Baked Brie from New England. Who’s going to win? Waiting is the hardest part, isn't it? (see my signature)  I swear this is worse than looking forward to Christmas day when I was a kid.  I have seriously kept myself awake many nights eagerly anticipating bringing my Egg home!

  • Wilma is picking mine up as we speak. I'm trapped at work and have to go to the dentist DIRECTLY after work. The anticipation is killing me!!

Consider the recent "table fire" in the safe use of your new egg.  You and your family will have a great time from the food you will produce, just remember the safety end of it too...  Good luck.

Yup,I bought 2- 9"x4 1/2"x1 1/4" fire bricks to go under the egg.I'm not sure if that covers enough area, but if not I'll go back for a couple more.

Be sure to have air space between the bricks and the Egg to prevent heat transfer.
