Waiting is the hardest part, isn't it? (see my signature)  I swear this is worse than looking forward to Christmas day when I was a kid.  I have seriously kept myself awake many nights eagerly anticipating bringing my Egg home!

  • Wilma is picking mine up as we speak. I'm trapped at work and have to go to the dentist DIRECTLY after work. The anticipation is killing me!!

Consider the recent "table fire" in the safe use of your new egg.  You and your family will have a great time from the food you will produce, just remember the safety end of it too...  Good luck.

Yup,I bought 2- 9"x4 1/2"x1 1/4" fire bricks to go under the egg.I'm not sure if that covers enough area, but if not I'll go back for a couple more.

Be sure to have air space between the bricks and the Egg to prevent heat transfer.
