We hope you all got to celebrate those tasty food holidays last week, we sure enjoyed them! The egg wins again

I won first place brisket and third place ribs. My friend Jon won second place brisket. He got his egg at salado and it was his first brisket ever. He's never even seen one made.

There was quite a bit of grumbling about the eggs and my maverick and thermapen. The guys with $10k rigs didn't like my full night of sleep either.

I used a 14.6 lb select brisket. Rubbed with bills season all. Nothing but rub and smoke. imageimage
