Anyone have any ideas (recipes, etc.) for carnitas?
The wife and I love carnitas and yesterday our local store had a special on pork butts for 99 cent per pound. Of course I loaded up, but want to do something different than pulled pork. So why not carnitas. I love to eat it at my favorite Mexican restaurant so it makes sense to make it at home.
One recipe I found is by Diana Kennedy at http://food52.com/recipes/13098-diana-kennedy-s-carnitas
which is very popular. Maybe add some orange juice to the water for sweetness.
