Mold/Mildew
Options
I recently purchased a large BGE. I am getting mold/mildew after almost every rain. I store it on my deck with the lid closed, rain cap on, and dampers closed almost immediately after a cook (no vinyl cover). I open it up a couple of weeks later (with some rain falling during this two week cooking lull) and the grill, felt gasket, and even portions of the internal ceramic dome have mold/mildew. Even the daisy wheel which I store inside is getting rusted. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, What can I do to prevent it?

RJ,
honestly, the best thing you can do is use the egg more.[p]but if you want to get rid of the mold, just fire up the egg and let it go for a while at 600 or so.[p]
