I rubbed up a 7lb. Boston Butt last night with FB's Cowgirl Ride' Em Rub, wrapped and refrigerated. Got up at 6:30 this morning and started the Egg, got it stabilized at 250 and put the Butt on at 7:30 with 3 hunks of Hickory, I didn't peek until 195 then pulled at 200 and FTC for 1.5 hours, grilled some asparagus and served with applesauce. Had Stubbs and Sweet Baby Rays on the table but SWMBO said what are those for? Needless to say it didn't need any sauce. Bark was fantastic and the pork melted in your mouth. My 15 yr old son said "we should open a restaurant Dad this is soooo good then he says "I will be coming home for dinner after I move out" I might have to buy him an Egg so I go to his house....
