Grid here. The difference between the two gets smaller as the egg heats up. I find that mine are close enough to say they match.

I bought one of these from the BBQ Guru website:  Here

Works well.  Grid is about 25 degrees hotter on a direct and 25 degrees cooler on an indirect, but as six_egg says, it all tends to stabilize over time...

smbishop I am doing cinnamon/Carmel rolls on the Egg with the Cyber Q, Seems to be working great and I am seeing about the same temp difference you mention. Got the Maverick running to just so I could see the difference.

Sounds great!  Need to try that out.  Are you using a pizza stone?

I haven't used my Maverick since getting the Cyber Q (I also have a party Q)...
